The woman was cheated of Rs 5.5 lakh, the crook had offered her a part time job

Rajnandgaon. A case of fraud by a female employee of Abis Group has come to light. The caller from the fake number tricked the woman into earning profits by getting involved in marketing. Seeing the good offer, the female employee accepted the caller’s words and deposited Rs. 6.5 lakh in her account. Later the woman realized that she had been cheated.

According to the information received, Tannu Bahl, a resident of Raipur, is working in the local IB Group located in Indamra. On April 13, the caller contacted the victim offering a part-time job. In which the promise of increasing the amount by 30 to 90 percent was made in return for working through e-commerce and telegram. The caller sent a Telegram link to the victim’s mobile on WhatsApp on April 16. On April 19, some money was also credited to the victim’s account in return for the work done. After this, the unknown caller asked the female employee to deposit money in his account in different installments.

Meanwhile, the caller continued to give various orders to the female employee to work. Every few days, the woman was asked to deposit the amount in her account citing different reasons. When the woman realized that she had been cheated. The caller refused when asked for the money back. Since then the caller’s mobile is also switched off. The female worker deposited a total of Rs 5 lakh 86 thousand 700 in the account of the unknown caller. The woman has complained of fraud to Lalbagh police. The police is investigating the matter
