Finance Minister OP Choudhary gave instructions to provide assistance of Rs 4 lakh to the deceased in the boat accident
Raipur. Giving information about sanctioning an assistance amount of Rs 4 lakh under the Revenue Assistance Book Circular to those who died when a boat full of devotees going to visit Patthar Saini capsized near Shardha Ghat in the nearby state of Orissa, MLA Raigarh and Finance Minister OP. Said that under the Revenue Assistance Book Circular, instructions have been given to the district administration to give Rs 4 lakh to the families of the deceased.
Minister OP took detailed information about proper treatment of the injured during the incident and sending them to their homes along with food arrangements and also gave necessary guidelines. Praying to God for peace to the dead souls, he said that he is standing with them in this hour of grief. Describing the incident as heart-wrenching, he also appealed to the family members to be patient in this time of grief. In an appeal to the general public wishing speedy recovery of those injured in the incident, OP requested that safety of life should be the first priority. It is everyone’s collective responsibility to ensure that such incidents do not recur. Let us together ensure the safety of life so that such incidents do not happen again.
