Rape accused dies in jail, dies due to chest pain

Balrampur. An undertrial prisoner has died in Ramanujganj district jail, after which serious questions are now being raised on the jail administration. The relatives of the deceased are alleging murder in the case. Jail management said that undertrial prisoner Rajkumar, resident of Kusmi police station area, was admitted to jail 8 months ago in a rape case. Today the prisoner suddenly felt pain in his chest.

After first aid in the district jail, he was brought to Ramanujganj Community Health Center, where doctors declared him dead. In the related case, the medical officer said that the prisoner had died before reaching the hospital. The health department is now talking about investigating the health history of the deceased. The family members of the deceased are accusing the jail administration of murder and demanding justice by conducting an investigation by the forensic team.
