Double murder: Couple murdered by slitting throat with axe

Hathras: A couple sleeping under a thatch was murdered by slitting their throats with an ax on Monday night in Pora village of Kotwali Sikandrarau area in Hathras. The named father and sons committed the crime over a dispute over purchasing goods at the shop. In this case, the police have arrested the murderer father and son. While a murderer is absconding. Pankaj Kumar, a resident of village Pora, while filing a report in the police station, said that at around 4 pm on Monday evening, while buying goods at his father Bobby’s shop, he had an argument with Nannu over some issue. At that time the matter was calmed down.
At around 10:30 pm, his mother Sunita Devi, 40, and father Bobby, 45, were sleeping under a shed outside the shop built on the farm. While he was sleeping inside the shop. When he heard his mother screaming at around 10:30 in the night, he came out of the shop. It is alleged that Nannu, son of Deviram, resident of Todarpur, killed his father in front of his eyes by hitting him with an axe. When his mother ran to save her life, Nannu’s sons Rajkumar and Ramu surrounded the mother and started attacking her with axes and sticks, due to which the mother also died. He himself saved his life and went into hiding in the fields. As soon as information was received about the murder of a couple in Pora, SP Nipun Aggarwal reached the spot. The police sent the bodies for post-mortem in the night itself. The police registered a case against the three named on the basis of the complaint in the night itself. A few hours later, the father and son accused of murder were arrested. Currently a murderer is absconding, the police is busy searching for him. SP Hathras, Nipun Aggarwal said that in this case the accused father and son have been arrested. An ax and stick have been recovered from the spot.

They started demanding the handing over of the murdered father and son to them. There was an uproar regarding this for about an hour. The police used batons to control the crowd and dispersed them. The dead bodies were immediately placed in an ambulance and sent to Pora. During this time, the Kotwali police have detained half a dozen youth who were creating ruckus. Meanwhile, due to both the dead bodies being kept on GT Road, there was a traffic jam for a long time.
