France raises anti-terrorism security alert level to highest level after Moscow attacks
Paris. A deadly terrorist attack took place in the Russian capital Moscow on Friday. After this, the French government has decided to raise the national security alert system Vigipirate to the highest level to deal with the possible threat facing the country.
“French President Emmanuel Macron called a defense and security meeting at the Elysee Palace on Sunday night in the wake of the attack in Moscow,” French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal said on his X account.
Prime Minister Atal further said, “In view of the alleged attack by ISIS and the threat of terrorist attacks looming over the country, we have decided to raise the anti-terrorism security alert level to the highest level.”
Let it be known that at least 137 people were killed in the terrorist attack on a concert hall in Moscow last Friday. Russian President Vladimir Putin declared March 24 a national day of mourning in a televised national address on Saturday.
