Guwahati: In a nationwide crackdown on schools violating the association’s rules, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has softened and downgraded several institutions, indicating a stronger stance against bad practices – disbandment after inspection. had to face. In an official notification, CBSE highlighted the need for these tests, saying, “As a landmark survey conducted in CBSE schools across the country to check whether the school affiliation tests are conducted as per the policy and norms in the bye-laws , it was found that some schools had committed various malpractices in admitting dummy students and ineligible candidates and not maintaining records properly. “This action reaffirms the committee’s commitment to maintaining academic integrity and ensuring that the schools involved comply with the regulations. Thus by singling out and shaming the erring institutions, CBSE is sending a clear message about the consequences of non-compliance, with the aim of maintaining the standard of quality of education in its affiliated schools across the country.
