Half murder of young man, accused arrested
Raipur. On the direction of Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh and under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police D R Porte and under the supervision of City Superintendent of Police (Old Basti), Raipur Police Station Incharge New Rajendra Nagar, the accused of attempt to murder was arrested to curb body related crimes. He was immediately arrested and sent to jail. The brief details of the case are as follows that the applicant Jai Kumar Yadav, father Jati Ram Yadav, age 28 years, near Sakin Mauli Mata Temple, came to the police station Telibandha district Raipur on 20/3/24 and lodged a verbal report that on 19/03/2024 Sujit Nayak and Devendra Chandrakar had a fight with Damodar alias Arjun Mahapatra on 20/03/2024. On 20/03/2024, the applicant was talking to his friend Rahul Jangde Damodar Mahapatra while stopping near Signal Chowk Mahavir Nagar Paan Thela.
At the same time, Sujit Nayak and Ritesh Joshi came and started arguing with Damodar regarding yesterday’s matter. When he refused, they abused him and threatened to kill him, with the intention of killing Sujit Nayak, they attacked him fatally. Ritik Joshi beat him with the bangle he was wearing on his hand. Rahul Jangde, who came to save the beach, along with Sujit Nayak and Ritik Joshi came to an agreement and fought and started fighting. Due to this, the applicant’s face, neck, waist, hand and the scene of Rahul Jangde were beaten. On reporting that there was an injury, a criminal offense under section 294 506 30734 of the Indian Penal Code was registered against the accused and after investigation, the injured applicant was given medical attention.
During the investigation, the statement of the primary witness was recorded, after inspecting the incident site, a city map was prepared. During the investigation, on the information of the informer, the accused of the case, Ritik Joshi, was taken into custody. According to the memorandum statement, talking in front of the evidence, the bracelet used in the incident was recovered. Accused Ritik Joshi was seized before the witness on 23/0/24. He was arrested on 23/03/2024. Since the case was sub-trial, a checklist of the accused was prepared. Sujit Nayak, the accused in the case, absconded from the date of incident.
