Mission Vote, ‘Play’-Planted in Sanguem by Full Returning Officer

Sanguem: With the Lok Sabha elections bugling out, Assistant Returning Officer Sanguem Praveen Gawas, along with South Goa District Returning Officer, conducted a one-act play to create awareness among voters in the remote Varlem ward of Sanguem constituency. Constituency.

The drama presented by the Sanguem Mamlatdar office officials and booth level officials was well appreciated by the audience. On this occasion, folk dance was also presented by the local group.
The play gave a clear message to the people to cast their vote and follow the slogan of ‘One Vote, One Plant’.
Voters were also made aware about the enrollment process for new voters.
Assistant Returning Officer Praveen Gavas urged people to turn out in large numbers for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Especially the voters of remote Verlam and Salgini booths were appealed to create a record of 100 percent voting.
Gavas, during his visit to the remote village famous for strawberry cultivation, appreciated the villagers for their hard work and putting in every possible effort in strawberry cultivation despite initial hurdles and making this small village famous all over Goa.
