Shepherd suffering from epilepsy drowns in pond, dies

Balod. A youth died due to drowning in a pond in Chikhali village of Daundi police station area of the district. The incident spread sensation in the area. On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot, established a route and started investigation. It is being told that the young man died while bathing in the pond.

According to the information, deceased Dashrath Yadav, aged 35, used to graze cows and had gone to take a bath in the pond on Friday. Where he suffered epilepsy while bathing and died by drowning in the pond. Information was given to the police late in the night, after which the police reached the spot, took the body into their custody, prepared the Panchnama and sent it for post-mortem. Post mortem could not be done due to late night. Because of this, the police have kept the body in the mortuary and started investigation.
