BSP asks BRS to leave Nagarkurnool, Adilabad seats

Hyderabad: As part of its alliance with BRS, BSP is seeking two seats to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

BSP is keen to contest the elections in Nagarkurnool and Adilabad regions.
On Wednesday, state BSP chief RS Praveen Kumar, MP Ramji Gautam and other party leaders met BRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao in Hyderabad and discussed seat sharing.
In the 2014 assembly elections, the BSP secured two segments that fall under the Adilabad Lok Sabha constituency, with former ministers Allola Indrakaran Reddy and Koneru Konappa winning the Nirmal and Sirpur seats. Praveen Kumar, who unsuccessfully contested the recent assembly elections from Sirpur, is reportedly keen to contest from Nagarkurnool.
