PM Modi congratulated DRDO on the success of ‘Mission Divyastra’

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a big announcement on Monday and said that ‘Mission Divyastra’ of Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has been successful. PM Modi also congratulated DRDO for the success of this mission.

He informed the countrymen about this big success through social media platform X.

PM Modi wrote on Twitter, “Proud of our DRDO scientists for Mission Divyastra, the first successful test of indigenously developed Agni-5 missile with Multiple Independently Targetable Re-entry Vehicle (MIRV) technology.”

According to government sources, this success will ensure that the same missile can be deployed simultaneously on different battlefields. The director of this project is a woman and women have made an important contribution in it.

With the test of ‘Mission Divyastra’, India has joined the select group of countries which have MIRV capability. The system is equipped with indigenous avionics systems and high accuracy sensor packages, ensuring successful target engagement. This capability is a proof of India’s growing technological power.
