Teacher behind bars for dirty deeds with girls

Bilaspur: Kamlesh Sahu, a teacher who molested minor girls of class 8th and 9th, was arrested by the police yesterday. He was presented in the court, from where he has been sent to jail.

It is known that Kamlesh Sahu, a teacher posted in a middle school in Bilha block, used to indulge in obscene acts with many girl students studying in class 8th and 9th for a long time. On receiving the complaint, the District Education Officer conducted an investigation. The family of one of the victim girls had lodged a complaint at Bilha police station. After receiving the departmental inquiry report, the accused teacher was suspended. Apart from this, cluster coordinator Asha Kanwar and head reader Avinash Tiwari were also removed from the school.

Here, after registering the crime under POCSO Act and Section 354 of IPC, the police arrested the teacher from his house. After being produced in the court, he was sent to jail on judicial demand.
