Obscene video made viral by creating fake ID of girlfriend

Kawardha. Kawardha Police has arrested his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend, who created a fake ID in her name and uploaded obscene videos on Instagram. Police have arrested the accused from Madhya Pradesh. His procession was also taken out here. The matter is of Lohara police station area. The victim girl lodged a complaint against the accused Naresh Thakur (28), resident of Didhauri, district Narsinghpur. The woman told that she had an affair with Naresh, but later they broke up. The girl told that the accused had recorded the video call of the time when they were having an affair and was blackmailing her in her name.

The accused was threatening to make the video viral on social media. After this, he created a fake ID in her name and uploaded obscene videos on Instagram. Police registered a case against accused Naresh Thakur and arrested him from Narsinghpur in Madhya Pradesh. A case has been registered against him under Section 509 B, 384 and Section 67 of the Information Technology (Amendment) Act 2008. The police brought the accused to Kawardha and he was handcuffed and taken out in a procession from Lohara to the court. The accused was produced in the court, from where he was sent to jail in judicial custody. Lohara police station in-charge Vikas Baghel informed about the incident.
