Stirred by action against VC and Registrar of all universities, salary stop notice issued

Patna: KK Pathak has taken major action against VCs and Registrars of all the universities of Bihar for not attending the meeting of the Education Department. Show cause notice has been sent withholding his salary. Clarification has been sought from the Education Department that you did not attend the important meeting on 28th February. Why not register the primary key on you? Along with this, the Education Department has also banned the operation of bank accounts of all the universities. It is known that a meeting was called by the department on 28th February in which no Vice Chancellor was present on the orders of Rajpal RV Arlekar. Raj Bhavan had sent instructions regarding this to all the universities.
In fact, a meeting was called by the Education Department on Tuesday in which the Vice Chancellors, Registrars and Controllers of Examinations of all the universities of Bihar were asked to attend. This meeting was called by KK Pathak regarding the problem of late sessions in the universities and colleges of Bihar, bringing studies and examinations back on track and other issues related to the problems of the university. VCs, Registrars, Examination Controllers of all the universities were instructed to compulsorily attend the meeting held under the chairmanship of the Additional Chief Secretary.
But no VC, Pro VC or Register attended this meeting. On the orders of Raj Bhawan, the university officials completely distanced themselves from KK Pathak’s meeting. Since then, speculations were being made that the readers may take some big and tough action after this. In the letter sent to the university, the Education Department had already said that attending the meeting is mandatory. If any official does not come to the meeting, action will be taken against him.
For the last few days, the discussion about KK Pathak’s interference in higher education and his dispute with Raj Bhavan has been in the headlines. After receiving instructions from the Education Department, Patliputra University sought guidance from Raj Bhavan in this matter. In response, Raj Bhavan directed all university officials to stay away from the meeting of the Education Department. Following that, the university official did not attend the meeting of KK Pathak.
