Decomposed body of a woman found in Half River, sensation spread
Kawardha. The dead body of a woman has been found in Half river in Kawardha district of Chhattisgarh. It is being told that there are injury marks on the body. There is suspicion of murder. The police took the body into custody and sent it for postmortem. The whole matter is of Limaipur village of Pandariya police station area. It is being told that on Wednesday evening some villagers of Limaipur had gone for a walk towards the river. During this time people saw the dead body of a woman floating in the water. The villagers got scared and went to the village and told the people. After this the police was informed about the matter. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and pulled the body out of the water. The corpse was mutilated. The deceased woman was identified as Ramotin Bai Baiga (45), resident of Badrapara. The police called the family members, conducted Panchnama and sent the body to Pandariya Mortuary for postmortem.
Inquiries from the relatives of the deceased revealed that the woman was missing for four days. A lot of research was done, but nothing was found and now the dead body has been found in the river of the adjacent village. It is being told that the woman lived with her husband Pandru Baiga. He also has 6 children. The woman had left home on Sunday, but did not return. The villagers said that the way the woman’s body was looked, it seemed as if someone had murdered her and drowned her in the river water so that it could go away and no one could identify her. There were many injury marks on the woman’s body. When the woman was missing from home for four days, why did the family members not inform the police station about her disappearance? Here too, it is a matter of investigation. Pandaria SDOP Pankaj Patel said that the body had become swollen due to being in water for a long time. The fish has also damaged the corpse. Identification was done after much effort. The husband has been called and interrogated. The case is being investigated.
