Two people died after pickup collided with bike

Barabanki. Two people died when a pickup collided with a bike on the Lucknow-Ayodhya highway on Monday morning in Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh.

According to police sources, at around 3 am in the morning, a pickup going towards Ayodhya hit a bike on the highway near Pyarepur Saraiya village and then hit a tree. In this accident, while the bike rider died on the spot, the pickup went out of control and collided with a tree on the roadside, due to which the pickup driver also died.

The bike rider has been identified as Manoj (30), resident of Godari village of Safdarganj police station area. Police are trying to identify the pickup driver. The body has been sent for post-mortem.
