Father and son die after being hit by train

Jehanabad. Father and son died after being hit by a train near Tehta Halt in Jehanabad district of Bihar. Earphones (head phones) have also been recovered from the spot, due to which the possibility is being expressed that the father might have been crossing the tracks with headphones in his ears and both of them got hit by the train.

A police official said that two bodies were recovered near Tehta halt on Jehanabad-Patna railway section on Monday. The deceased have been identified as Shravan Kumar and his two-year-old son Jackky Kumar. Both are said to be residents of Bal Bigha village.

D.N., in-charge of Jehanabad Railway Station. Yadav told that both of them died after being hit by the train. The deceased person was also wearing earphones in his ears. It seems that due to wearing earphones, the sound of the train was not heard, due to which the incident occurred. The body has been taken into custody and sent for postmortem.
