Chances of rain in 3 divisions, yellow alert issued

Raipur. The weather patterns have changed again in Chhattisgarh. Cold winds have been blowing in Raipur since Saturday night. There are chances of rain in some districts of Surguja, Bilaspur, Durg and Bastar. The Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert for 3 days. Heavy rain occurred at many places in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi district on Saturday evening. Even in Amarkantak, after the rain, the cold has increased in the area.

According to the Meteorological Center, there is a possibility of a slight increase in day and night temperatures in the state in the next 48 hours. After this, there will be a drop of 2 to 3 degrees in temperature in Surguja division and adjoining districts. On Saturday, the highest temperature in Durg was 33 degrees in Rajnandgaon. Whereas, the lowest temperature of 11.6 degrees was recorded in Surguja.

According to meteorologists, there are chances of rain in many districts of Chhattisgarh today. There are chances of light drizzle with thunder in Surguja, Jashpur, Balrampur, Raigarh, Rajnandgaon, Kanker. At the same time, there are chances of light to moderate rain in Surguja, Bilaspur, Raipur, Durg divisions on 26 and 27 February.
