TNCC will protest by showing black flags during PM Modi’s visit
CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Congress Committee (TNCC) has said it will protest with black flags during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kulasekarapattinam in Thoothukudi district on February 28 and demanded the central government’s “urgency” in addressing the concerns of fishermen. TNCC President K Selvaperunthagai, in a press statement, expressed concern over the continued arrest of Tamil fishermen and confiscation of their boats by the Sri Lankan Navy.
