Railway police returns woman’s lost purse

Bilaspur. RPF team returning the purse to the lady passenger at the RPF post. With the help of Railway Protection Force, a woman passenger heaved a sigh of relief. Actually, in the train in which she had boarded by mistake, she forgot seven thousand rupees in cash, a watch, a necklace with a gold locket and a lady’s purse containing important documents. Asked for cooperation by giving information on Rail Madad app. RPF took possession of that purse and later returned it safely when the passenger reached Bilaspur RPF post. The matter is of Monday. Information was received in Bilaspur Security Control Room that a woman passenger of 20821 Pune-Santragachi Humsafar Express has lost her purse. Seven thousand rupees are kept in it along with the documents.

When the train reached Bilaspur station, Assistant Sub Inspector TR Kurre along with the working force members went into the concerned coach and took the purse safely into his custody. After this the passenger was talked to. On this, the female passenger revealed her name as Bindu Singhal, resident of Sector-4 Rohtak, Haryana. His reservation was reserved for berth number 65 of coach number B-6 and berth number 58 of B-12 of 22867 Durg-Nizamuddin Humsafar Express. Told to travel from Raipur to Nizamuddin. But, boarded 20821 Pune-Santragachi Humsafar Express at Raipur Railway Station. When she got information from her co-passengers that the train was going to Howrah, she got down from the train in a hurry. At the same time, her ladies purse was left in the coach of Pune-Santragachi Humsafar. After getting information that the bag was safe with the RPF, the female passenger reached Bilaspur and took the purse from the RPF post. Only after this a smile appeared on the traveler’s sad face.
