Thieves’ gang busted, stolen vehicles recovered

The Civil Lines police today claimed to have busted a gang of thieves and vehicle thieves and recovered six bikes, two scooters and five mobile phones from their possession. The arrested people were identified as Sunny, resident of Sarangara village of Lopoke and Gurpreet Singh alias Gopi, resident of Majitha.
ADCP Prabhjot Singh Virk said that five days ago, while patrolling in Crystal Chowk area, the police had arrested Sunny along with the stolen motorcycle. He said that Sunny has been brought on police remand. During interrogation, he revealed the name of his associate Gurpreet Singh, who was caught from Majitha two days ago. During their interrogation, the police recovered six bikes, two scooters and five mobile phones, which were stolen from different parts of the city.
