Was threatening by waving a knife, arrested on the spot

Bhilai. A criminal who was scaring common people by waving a sharp knife in Panchsheel Nagar Fort has been arrested. According to the information, the police received information from the informer that in the public place Ward 01 Panchsheel Nagar Durg, a person was threatening people with a knife and the Durg police cordoned off the spot and caught the accused.

When asked about his name and address, he told his name as Suraj Sharma, father Sohanlal Sharma, age 40 years, resident of Ward 01 Panchsheel Nagar Durg, police station and district Durg (Chhattisgarh), from whose possession an iron sharp knife was seized and arrested. In case of crime number 64/2024, section 25 (1-B), 27 Arms Act, action was taken. In the said proceedings, P.R. Yogesh Chandrakar played the role of constable Utkarsh Singh, Suresh Kumar.
