Rahul Gandhi to resume Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra from Rourkela today

Rourkela: Congress senior leader Rahul Gandhi is set to resume his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra from Rourkela of Odisha’s Sundargarh district. The yatra will begin from Rourkela SP office and address the public gathering at Panaposh square. The Congress leader will also address a meeting at Kutra and Baragaon of the district. Later in the evening, the Rahul Gandhi will take night halt at Amipally of Jharsuguda. The yatra will again resume tomorrow (Thursday) from Jharsuguda and it will culminate at Kanaktora near Chhattisgarh border, where the flag of the Yatra would be handed to Chhattisgarh Congress. Earlier yesterday, the Congress leader entered Odisha from the Jharkhand border at Birmitrapur at around 2.30 pm. After reaching Odisha, he handed over the flag of ‘Bharat Joda Nyay Yatra’ will be handed over to the Odisha Congress.

Congress’s Bharat Nyay Yatra has started from Manipur to Mumbai. In this yatra, the party leaders will pass through 14 states and 85 districts from the east to the west of India in 67 days. The yatra began on January 14. Before this, the party conducted Bharat Jodo Yatra, where the party leaders along with Rahul Gandhi walk from Kanyakumari at the southern tip of India to the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The walking journey of 4,080 kilometres (2,540 miles) and was completed within over 150 days.
