Police crackdown on heroin smugglers, they were bringing it from Punjab and supplying it in Durg

Durg. SSP has given the responsibility to run a campaign against illegal drug dealers in the district. In compliance with which Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Abhishek Jha (R.P.S.), Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime) Dr. Anurag Jha (R.P.S.), City Superintendent of Police (Bhilai Nagar) Vishwa Deepak Tripathi (R.P.S.) Under the guidance of ACCU and under the leadership of ACCU in-charge Inspector Naresh Patel, Inspector Santosh Mishra and station in-charge Bhilai furnace inspector Vipin Rangari, a joint team of ACCU and police station was formed. Was imposed for action.

The team was continuously keeping an eye on the drug dealers and special sources were also deployed. Former habitual drug dealers released from jail were being monitored. During this time, the team came to know from special sources that Sonu Singh and Mandeep Singh, residents of Punjab, have brought drug Chitta (Heroin) from Punjab to supply to Lokan and Vicky Soni, resident of Shramik Nagar Cantonment, came to the savings pillar Sector 01 to collect it. It is said that on receiving information, the team surrounded and arrested Punjab residents Sonu Singh, Mandeep Singh and Vicky Soni. When they were duly searched on the spot, Jumla, 12.89 grams of narcotic drug, Heroin (Chitta), electronic weighing machine were found in different possession of the said accused.

Name of the accused –
01.Sonu Singh, father Balbir Singh, age 27 years, resident of village Shahzadi, district Firozpur Punjab.

  1. Mandeep Singh, father Nirmal Singh, age 28 years, resident of village Daulatpura police station Kalkara district Moga Punjab.
    03.Vicky Soni, father Ramnarayan Soni, age 30 years, resident of Shramik Nagar Cantonment near Shani Mandir, Bhilai.
