Father was murdered 3 years ago, murderer son now arrested

Bilaspur. Police has arrested the son from Punjab who murdered his father for not paying money. This incident took place 3 years ago near Urdu Maidan of Tarbahar police station area. The accused had absconded after committing the incident. Tarbahar police arrested him from village Lukhand in Patiala area of Punjab and is taking further action.

According to the information, Rahul Shankar, living in the construction colony of Tarbahar area, used to argue with his father Arun Shankar every day, demanding money. Even on the morning of 8 October 2020, he was arguing with his father by demanding money. In the afternoon he beat his father Arun Shankar and left him bleeding. His younger son Akash took the injured father to the hospital in an auto.

A report of this matter was lodged in the police station the next day. Arun Shankar died during treatment on October 13, five days after the incident. Police registered a case on this and started investigation. Meanwhile, accused son Rahul Shankar absconded. Whom the police team was searching for.

Recently he had called his ex-wife on his mobile. As soon as the police got information about this, they traced the mobile location. It was revealed that he was living in village Lukhand under Patiala district of Punjab. The police team reached Punjab, raided Lukhand village and arrested the accused youth. After the murder of his father, the accused youth had gone to his in-laws’ house in Raipur.

Where after staying for a few days, he went to Delhi out of fear of being caught. In Delhi he got identified with a young man living in Punjab. After this he went to Punjab and started guarding the fields. He had gone to Punjab only six months ago.
