Raipur. On receiving the complaint of careless drivers doing stunts while over-speeding on the roads of Naya Raipur by the biker gang, on the instructions of Inspector General of Police Raipur Range Ratanlal Dangi and Senior Superintendent of Police Raipur Prashant Kumar Aggarwal, under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police Traffic Raipur Sachindra Kumar Choubey. A special operation was conducted by Police Station Incharge Traffic Kayabandha Naval Kishore Kashyap and cordoned off.
Along with police station in-charge Mandir Hasaud and police station in-charge Rakhi, a total of 16 drivers were caught doing bike stunts around the CBD building of Naya Raipur for rash and negligent driving, endangering people’s lives by driving unsafely. IPC and M.V. related to not presenting vehicle documents on the spot, driving vehicle without number. Sections 279 IPC 184, 130/177, 39/192(1)A, M.V. Action was taken by registering a first information report under the Act.
