Two liquor smugglers arrested, 70 pavva country liquor recovered

Noida: Phase-2 police station and Excise Department arrested two people from different places and recovered illegal liquor from them.

District Excise Officer Subodh Kumar Srivastava said that Excise Inspector Shikha Thakur received information that a person was selling liquor illegally in Nayagaon. He told that a team was formed with Phase 2 police station and raids were conducted there. During the raid, the police arrested Krishna, son of Rambharose, who was selling liquor illegally.

He said that upon search, 40 pounds of country liquor was recovered. He told that the accused was involved in the business of illegal liquor sale for a long time. Excise officer said that in another case, Phase 2 police station has arrested Sonu Bind. Police recovered 30 pavva liquor. This accused was also involved in the business of illegal sale of liquor.
