Dr. Kamlesh Aggarwal, director and plastic surgeon of Om Hospital, says that about Rs 20 lakh was spent on the treatment of this labourer, but he got complete treatment from ESIC in the hospital and the patient did not have to pay any amount in the hospital.
He told that in a seriously burnt patient, the first 24 to 48 hours are very important. Therefore, the burn patient should get complete treatment from a plastic surgeon only. Dr. Kamlesh Aggarwal told that there is a special burn unit in the hospital, where special trained nursing staff are present, who take care of the patients 24 hours.
