Road show became the last journey of life in Kinnaur

Recangpio. The journey of five youths who set out for the road show in Kinnaur became the last journey. Little did the five friends, who were joking with each other, know that death was waiting for them. As soon as the five youths in the car reached Shilti Road on Wednesday morning, the car went out of control and fell into a ditch. The accident was so terrible that all five died on the spot. The age of all the youth who died is between 24 to 29 years. All these youths were working together in Mahindra showroom. There is mourning in Kalpa, Shong, Sapni, Khawangi and Barang villages of Kinnaur district.

As soon as information about the incident was received, family members and a large number of people reached the spot. According to people, the road at the place where this accident took place is very narrow. Vehicle movement on Shilti road has increased significantly in the last few months. Many drivers have felt that the road is quite narrow at many places along with sharp turns at many places on the Shilti link road. Drivers need to be very careful while driving in such places. The drivers have appealed to the government-administration to issue orders to the department to identify all such black spots and repair them, so that untoward incidents can be prevented.
