Khammam: Environmentalism promotes fruitarianism for nature and health

Khammam: He is a professor in government but does various works as an environmentalist like spreading vegetation and promoting vegetarian diet among the public to maintain good health.

Shaikh Mehmood Pasha, who serves as the Director of Primary School Mandal Parishad (MPPS) at Jakaram in Nadimigudem gram panchayat in Allapalli mandal of the district, is involving the students in the plantation of young trees in the school facilities. His environment during the last two years.

In announcements to Telangana Today, she wanted the Congress government to continue the Harit Haram program started by the previous BRS government. He said continuation of the program is fundamental to the well-being of the state’s population, apart from ecological balance.

Apart from this, Ustad is also educating the villagers about the evils of alcohol consumption and abuse of other substances. “Most of the people living in the area are tribals and spend their money on alcohol, so they regularly interact with drinkers to avoid drinking alcohol,” he said.

Pasha is also promoting fruitarianism, a dietary system in which one consumes only raw fruits for ethical and health reasons. Explains that being frugal is the best way to maintain good health by avoiding meat and spicy foods.

To demonstrate this, Pasha went on a 40-day diet from November 7 to December 16 last year, during which he consumed only raw fruits. He said that upon learning about the idea, many activists from various Hindu groups asked him to join them and adopt the idea.
