Three smugglers involved in illegal liquor smuggling arrested

Similarly, on 12.01.2024, informer information was received that a person was standing in front of Nishad grocery shop in front of Honda Activa number CG-04-NU-2735, keeping a huge quantity of liquor in a plastic sack and taking it for sale to Mandir Hasaud country liquor shop. On the information, Sub Inspector Gokul Ram Sahu Hamrah Staff Constable 1805 Dinesh Jha, Constable 80 Mohit Raote went and conducted raid and arrested accused Deepak Kumar Chauhan, father Brijmohan Chauhan, age 22 years, resident of Dhangarh Chain, Tikrapara Raipur, Police Station Tikrapara District Raipur, Honda Activa number CG-04-NU. In front of 2735, he was caught carrying 60 pounds of country liquor, masala liquor in a plastic bag for the purpose of sale. 60 pauvas of country liquor, spice liquor and Honda Activa number CG-04-NU-2735 used for transportation, Jumla worth Rs 46,600 were seized from the possession of the accused. Action was taken against the accused under 34(2) Excise and he was sent to jail on remand. Seized Mashrooka- 137 Pauwa country liquor, spice liquor worth Rs 15070/- and vehicle Honda Activa number CG-04-NL-2214 and Honda Activa number CG-04-NU-2735 worth Rs 70,000.

3- Deepak Kumar Chauhan, father Brijmohan Chauhan, age 22 years, resident of Dhangarh Chain, Tikrapara Raipur police station, Tikrapara district Raipur (Chhattisgarh).
