Tractor-trolley loaded with paddy overturns, farmer dies painfully
Raigarh. A farmer died when a tractor-trolley overturned in Lailunga police station area of Raigarh district on Friday morning. The tractor driver has absconded after the accident. After the information, they reached the spot and sent the body of the deceased to the hospital for post-mortem. Police is investigating the matter. According to the information, at around 8.15 am on Friday morning, farmer Mangal Singh Sidar, resident of Chingari village under Lailunga police station area, along with two people from his village, Sobhan Bhagat, Dulamani Rathia, Amit Lal Sidar’s trolley of tractor number CG 13 UH 7494. Had loaded the paddy and left for Jhagarpur market to sell.
Meanwhile, his tractor had just reached Banekela and Rapta culvert of Kerabahar when the tractor-trolley loaded with paddy went out of control and overturned. In this incident, farmer Mangal Singh Sidar died on the spot after being crushed under the tractor trolley. Another person, Sobhan Bhagat, suffered serious injuries and has been admitted to Lailunga Hospital. After the accident, the villagers present at the spot informed the Lailunga police station about the incident. The police team reached the spot and sent the body of the deceased to the hospital for post-mortem and took the matter under investigation. After this incident, the accused tractor driver Amit Lal Sidar has absconded. The police has also started locating him.
