CMO arrested in murder case of health worker

Rajim. Police have arrested 5 people including accused CMO Keshlal Sahu in the case of lynching of a health worker over a minor dispute. The family members of the deceased had accused the CMO and his associates of assaulting and murdering Namsing Dhruv. This case is of village Sendar of Fingeshwar police station area. SDOP Pushpendra Nayak said, on November 13, a case of death of a health worker due to beating of CMO came to light. After the death of the youth, the tribal society had opened a front. There was anger in the tribal community regarding this incident and they had warned of gheraoing the police station on January 11 demanding the arrest of the murder accused.

CMO Keshlal Sahu, Teman Lal Sahu, Noshram Sahu, Devraj Sahu, Rakesh Roshan Sahu have been arrested in this case. Let us tell you that Keshram Sahu is CMO in Samoda Nagar Panchayat of Arang area. During the immersion of Gauri Gaura on the day of Diwali festival in village Sendar, a scuffle broke out between health worker Nemsingh Dhruv and CMO Keshlal over a minor dispute. The fight escalated so much that the CMO and his associates beat up Nemsingh severely. Nemsingh Dhruv, a youth badly injured in the incident, died during treatment. Let us tell you that the deceased Nemsingh Dhruv was posted as a malaria employee in the Health Department, Gohrapadar. The family members of the deceased had lodged a complaint at Fingeshwar police station regarding the murder of the youth and demanded an investigation into the matter and strict action against the accused.
