It said that health institutions have been directed to check the facilities including oxygen plants and adequate quantities of rapid kits and VTM kits required for Covid testing have been made available in government health centres.

As said by the District Panchayat President, DDO and Chief District Health Officer, keeping in mind the situation of Corona, rapid kits and VTM kits required for Covid testing in all the health centers of the district have been made available in sufficient quantity in the government health centers. Has been. , Besides, all health institutions have been instructed to check essential medicines as well as other facilities including oxygen plants, oxygen cylinders and oxygen concentrators. As part of prior preparation, mock drills have been organized in government health centers and verification has been done.

Further, as stated, meetings have been held with all District Superintendents, Taluka Health Officers, Medical Officers regarding prior preparation. In view of the current season, emphasis has also been laid on conducting Covid test in case of suspected Covid among persons belonging to high risk group.
