Woman and youth arrested doing illegal business

Raipur. Woman and youth have been arrested doing illegal business. The team of Anti Crime and Cyber Unit received information that a person has kept illegal drug Ganja in his house in Satnami Para, village Sankara under Dharsiwa police station area. Under the direction of senior officers, a joint team of Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit and Chowki Siltara Police went to the said place and conducted a raid in the house mentioned by the informer. During the raid, a person was present in the house, who during interrogation revealed his name as Loknath Naurange.

When the team members searched the room, it was found that the drug marijuana was kept in the room. On which the team members arrested the accused Loknath Naurange and seized 01 kg 100 grams of ganja worth about Rs. 20,000/- from his possession and action was taken against the accused by registering crime number 13/2024 under Section 20B Narcotic Act in Police Station Dharsiwa. . Similarly, the outpost Siltara police team under the leadership of police station in-charge Dharsimwa and outpost in-charge Siltara arrested female accused Meenakshi Sahu in her hotel located in village Tanda under police station Dharsimwa area and seized 01 kg 130 grams of intoxicant ganja worth about Rs 20,000/- from her possession. Crime number 12/2024 under section 20B Narcotic Act was registered against the female accused and action was taken.
