Prayagraj: UP Board sets up portal to solve students’ problems
Prayagraj: Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UPMSP), popularly known as UP Board, has launched a portal dedicated to ‘Samadhan’ for its students. This portal is designed to solve the problems of lakhs of current and former students of more than 27,000 schools affiliated with UP Board. These queries will be resolved within a period of 15 days. This means that the student or his/her teacher will have to race to the seat of UP Board or its regional office. UP Junta Secretary Divyakant Shukla on Saturday launched ‘Samadhan’, a portal dedicated to students. Shukla said that every year more than 55 lakh candidates appear in the secondary and intermediate school examinations of UP Board. Keeping in mind the interests of the students, we have launched ‘Samadhan’ portal through which we will provide 13 different types of services/installations online for the first time to the interested and needy people”, he said. If the problems are not resolved within a period of fifteen days, the responsibility of the affected officers will be fixed. It is also setting up a control room at the junta’s headquarters in Prayagraj to monitor resolution of the problems. In this control room, solutions to the questions, problems and curiosities received from students and parents will be registered on two toll-free numbers and a file number will be given. The affected student will also be informed when a solution is found.
