15 kg ganja seized from bus, one accused arrested

Jagdalpur. Nagarnar District Police received information from the informer that a person was traveling in passenger bus no. of Naresh Travels. In CG 07 E 7720, illegal narcotic drug Ganja was being transported from Orissa towards Jagdalpur. On information, they reached Forest Naka village Dhanpunji Forest Naka village and sealed it and arrested the accused Devkaran Kumar, father of Lahirram, resident of Rajasthan and recovered a total of 15310 kg of intoxicating ganja from the possession of the accused. The offense of the accused was made out under Section 20(B) of the NDPS Act. After registering the crime and taking action, he was presented in judicial custody on Saturday.
