Police raided to know the history of tenants, weapons found

Raigarh. Raigad police launched a drive against suspicious persons and tenants. During this period, action was taken against 2 persons under Arms Act and against 70 persons under restrictive sections. One additional, two DSPs and 5 SHOs along with their team were present in this police operation.

According to the information, on Thursday, January 4, in Turkumuda of Jutmil police station area, under the leadership of Additional SP Sanjay Mahadeva, SDOP Dharamjaigarh Deepak Mishra, SDOP Kharsia Prabhat Kumar Patel along with Cyber Cell and joint police team of all the police stations of the city investigated the suspects and arrested the tenants. The houses were raided for verification.

In fact, the police had received information about the residents of Turkumuda providing small houses on rent to outsiders and a large number of hawkers. People coming from outside are living here without police verification. While raiding Turkumuda, the police took the people living on rent without verification to Jutmil police station and got their Aadhaar cards verified.
