Telangana: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy meets UPSC Chairman, discusses strengthening of TSPSC

New Delhi: Telangana Minister A Revanth Reddy met Union Public Service Commission Chairman Manoj Soni here on Friday and discussed the restructuring of the State Public Service Commission on the lines of UPSC. State Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy was also present at the meeting along with the Minister Principal. Telangana government sources said the Prime Minister held detailed discussions with the UPSC Chairman regarding strengthening of the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC). A day before the meeting, Uttam Kumar Reddy had said: “We will discuss with the UPSC chief on restructuring of TSPSC on the lines of UPSC for a transparent recruitment process.” “Sampling is a serious problem in Telangana,” he told reporters on Thursday. In 2023, the state was saved from filtering questionnaires from recruitment examinations conducted by TSPSC. Both Congress and BJP had organized several protests against the then BRS government.
