Clear weather in Himachal till January 7
Shimla. The weather will remain completely clear and dry in Himachal till January 7. On January 8, there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall at one or two places in the middle and high mountain areas, but in the months of December and January, where snowfall should have occurred, there is sunshine, due to which not only the local people but also the tourists.
Along with this, farmers and gardeners have also become worried. Chilling hours will not be complete for apples, while snowfall and lack of rain will have a direct impact on other crops as well.
On Tuesday, the maximum temperature in Bhuntar of the state was 21.4 degrees, while the maximum temperature in the capital Shimla was 14.9 degrees. The maximum temperature of the entire state including Shimla has decreased by minus 0.9 degrees in the last 24 hours.
It was minus 7.5 degrees in Kukumseri of the state while the minimum temperature in the capital Shimla was 4.6 degrees. Only Kalpa, Keylong, Kukumseri and Samdo are running in minus, while the temperature at other places is around zero, hence there is disappointment among the farmers and gardeners due to the chilling hours for apples not being completed.
