The usurer’s bullying, made the woman bleed

Korba. A woman living in Balko area of the district was beaten severely by a moneylender and her family. The woman suffered serious injuries in the incident and her head was also fractured. In this case, the statement of the woman has been recorded on the basis of the memo by the District Hospital Outpost Police.

According to the information, the name of the victim woman, resident of Balko police station area, is Anjan Singh, who had taken money on interest from a person named Shrikant Manjhi, who lives near his house. The woman used to pay the interest amount regularly every month but there was a dispute between the two regarding some issue. After which the moneylender’s family entered his house and carried out the incident of assault. Police has started investigation on the complaint of the matter.
