More than 100 doctors of Tanda Medical College going on leave
Kangra. Almost half of the doctors (around 100) of Dr. Rajendra Prasad Medical College and Hospital, Tanda, are going on leave from Tuesday, due to which the patients will have to face a lot of trouble. According to the information, there are about 223 doctors working in the college and hospital, who have been sanctioned leave by the government in winter and summer.
During winter season, professors have 38 days leave and senior resident doctors have 30 days leave. Apart from this, 7-7 days holidays are given in summer.
Due to these doctors being on leave from January 2, patients may face problems in the month of January. Patients will have to face problems as half of the doctors suddenly go on leave. These doctors are given leave in two phases by the state government.
In the first phase, half the doctors will go on leave and in the second phase the remaining doctors will go on leave. Similarly, these doctors are also given 7 days leave by the government.
Dr., HOD of Madison Department of Tanda Medical College. Dheeraj Kapoor, who is currently working as Principal, is not taking leave these days. He says that he will not take leave so that the patients do not face any problem.
