SDM raid, rice mill sealed

Korea. The district administration is keeping a close eye on those who commit irregularities in paddy procurement. These days, farmers in the district are taking their paddy to the procurement centers to sell it at support price. On the instructions of the state government, the district administration is continuously monitoring to ensure that illegal paddy is not sold. Also, Collector Vinay Kumar Langeh is reaching the paddy procurement center and taking information about the problems of the farmers.

On receiving information about illegal storage and transportation of paddy in M/s Mohit Rice Mill located in Amapara, a raid was conducted with the team under the leadership of Baikunthpur SDM Ankita Som at 4.30 in the morning. The accused was preparing to spend it in the Paddy Committee. The officials who reached the spot confiscated the tractor and sealed the rice mill.
