Employees’ strike did not affect the services of health department, regular treatment of patients continues

Raipur. Health facilities operated smoothly in the district due to the strike by regular and contractual paramedical staff on the call of the Health Employees Union. On the basis of this information, under the guidance of the district administration and as per the instructions of Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat Mr. Abhinav Mishra, the officer in charge of the health and family welfare department of the district, alternate arrangements and Duty of other staff has been engaged in emergency services. In which such field staff who were not going on strike, in which R.H.O. and second A.N.M. and College of Nursing, G.N.M. All the health institutions are being run smoothly through the college and other arrangements.

To inspect the health arrangements during the strike, Abinash Mishra, Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Panchayat Raipur today visited District Hospital Pandari, Kalibari M.Ch. Community health centers and primary health centers of development blocks were visited along with the hospital. The CEO inspected each and every department of the district hospital and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements of Community Health Center Abhanpur and Arang and gave instructions to maintain this arrangement further. Instructions were given to the Chief Medical and Health Officer, District Raipur to ensure that the patients do not face any problem or inconvenience under any circumstances. On the instructions of the CEO, all the HWCs, including the Community Health Centers and Primary Health Centers of the district, by the Departmental Program Officers along with the Chief Medical and Health Officer. Inspected health facilities in sub-health centers and other health facilities like O.P.D.A., I.P.D. The delivery facility was found to be operating smoothly. During the inspection, delivery was found to be conducted by the health institution at Community Health Center Arang and Primary Health Center – Torla. The officers also discussed with the patients. In which health facilities were being provided with smooth and better arrangements like other days. In this regard the patients also shared their experience with the officials. Most of the workers have given their support on the call of the Employees’ Union, but they are working by being present on regular work. The Chief Medical and Health Officer has given instructions to the in-charge of all health institutions, including the civil surgeon, to maintain alternative arrangements for all emergencies.
