Heavy rains in Bihar, road caved in VIP area of Patna
Patna (IANS). It has been raining intermittently in most districts of Bihar since Thursday. Where people have got relief from the heat due to the rain, the farmers have also entered the fields. Meanwhile, this rain in Patna exposed the municipal corporation. Water has accumulated in many areas and the road has caved in at many places in Veerchand Patel, considered a VIP area.
Due to the rains in Patna for the last 24 hours, a situation of water-logging has arisen in many areas. In view of water-logging, many private schools in the capital pasted holiday notices as soon as they opened.
The schools were closed till Wednesday on the instructions of the district administration due to the heat.
Here, the Veerchand Patel Path road caved in at many places. Many vehicles also got stuck due to road collapse, which were pulled out after a lot of effort.
It was told that the pipeline was laid by digging near the judge’s residence on this path and was filled with soil from above.
There are offices of RJD, JDU, BJP, Nationalist Congress Party in this area.
It has been raining intermittently in Patna for the last 24 hours. From 8.30 am on Thursday to 8.30 am on Friday, 143 mm of rain has been received. The intensity of rain was high since 3 am.
Here, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rains for the next 48 hours for North and East Bihar of the state.
According to the Meteorological Department, the next 48 hours are considered very important in Bihar.
The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Muzaffarpur, West Champaran, East Champaran, Saran, Siwan districts, while warning of thunderstorms in many areas.
Farmers are happy after rain. The farmers have entered the fields. Farmers are now looking hopeful about the paddy crop.
