Censor board denies certification to ’72 Hooren’ trailer

He said, “It is quite funny and sad that a film, which has won a National Award, a film which has won an award at IFFI (International Film Festival of India). Its scenes are the same as in the film at that time, only the trailer is new. While on one hand you have given the National Award to the film, on the other hand you are refusing to give certificate to the trailer of the film.” There was no immediate response from Joshi when contacted for his comment on the matter. “72 Hurren” was premiered under the Indian Panorama category of IFFI in Goa in 2019, where it received the ‘ICFT-UNESCO Gandhi Medal Special Mention’. In 2021, Chauhan received the National Award for Best Direction for the film.
