Ingredients for Brewing
Dry ginger powder – 1/2 tsp
Basil leaves – 8-10
Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Jaggery – 1 small piece
Rock salt – 2 pinches
water – 2 glasses

To avoid seasonal diseases like cold and cough, a decoction of ginger, basil and black pepper can be made. If you want, you can also use cloves in it. To make the decoction, first of all pour 2 glasses of water in a vessel and mix dry ginger powder in it and heat it on medium flame. After a few seconds, put black pepper powder and basil leaves in the pot and let it boil.
Boil the decoction well for at least 10 minutes. The more the decoction is boiled, the greater will be the effect of the things added to it. When the water in the pot is reduced to half, turn off the gas. When the decoction remains lukewarm, it can be served by pouring it in a serving glass. This decoction can be effective as an immunity booster in the changing season. Its consumption will help in keeping you healthy. However, do not forget to take medical advice before drinking it.
