JDU MLC opens front against party president Umesh Kushwaha

Patna (IANS). While JDU leader and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is trying to unite the opposition of the country, factionalism in his own party has started coming to the fore.

Party’s Legislative Councilor Rameshwar Mahato has accused the party’s state president Umesh Kushwaha of weakening the party.

Mahato said that Kushwaha is working with a narrow mind, which can never do good to the party.

He said that it is the greatness of Nitish Kumar that he made Umesh Kushwaha the state president of the party again.

MLC Mahato said in a clear tone that Umesh Kushwaha is not able to work the way he should to strengthen the party and is only stuck in factionalism.

Giving advice to Kushwaha, he said that he should take along all the people of the party, but he is trying to run the party with a narrow mind.

He said that it seems from the actions of Umesh Kushwaha that whether the party is strong or not, it does not matter to him, he puts more mind in how to be strong himself. We should rise above our selfishness and work for the strength of the party. The MLC even alleged that they wanted to sideline some leaders so that their selfishness could be achieved.
