History sheeter was stealing vehicle’s battery, police arrested

Korba. Korba police has arrested the vicious thief who stole the battery from the truck. The arrested accused is also a history sheeter. Action has already been taken on him for stealing batteries from trucks. The name of the vicious scoundrel is Vinod Kumar alias Ashok Sinha. Which has been caught by the Rampur police from the civil line. A total of 8 trailer batteries of different companies have been seized by the police from the accused. The cost of the seized battery is around Rs 1 lakh.

During patrolling, the Civil Line Police Station received information from the informer in TP Nagar that Vinod Kumar Sinha, a resident of Kashinagar Rampur, had hidden the stolen batteries of vehicles in a bush near Indira Stadium. The accused is looking for a customer to sell the stolen battery. After information, Rampur police reached the spot and took the accused Vinod Kumar Sinha into custody. During interrogation, the accused confessed his crime. Civil line station in-charge Shaurya Pratap Upadhyay said that during interrogation, the accused told to steal all the batteries from TP Nagar from different parked trailer vehicles and keep them hidden in the bush near Indira Stadium. The accused has been arrested under section 41(1-4)/379 and sent to jail on judicial remand. The accused is used to stealing batteries. The monitoring of Chowki Manikpur is also a scoundrel. Against whom dozens of cases are registered in the outpost.
