Semolina pudding is a traditional sweet. If you feel like eating sweets, semolina pudding can be made easily at any time. Along with flour halwa, semolina halwa is also very popular. On any special occasion semolina pudding is often made to sweeten the mouth of loved ones. Semolina pudding is made very easily and it does not take much time to make it. If you also want to make semolina pudding, then you can make it by adopting a very easy method.
Not many ingredients are required to make semolina pudding. Semolina, desi ghee, dry fruits are used to make semolina pudding. Semolina pudding can be prepared and eaten at any time. Semolina pudding can be a great sweet dish for the guests coming home.
Semolina Pudding Ingredients
Semolina (rava) – 1 cup
Desi ghee – 1 cup
Sugar – 1 cup
Cashew chopped – 1 tbsp
Chopped almonds – 1 tbsp
Cardamom – 3-4
Semolina Halwa Recipe
To make semolina pudding, first take a pan and put desi ghee in it and keep it on medium flame to heat. When the ghee melts, put semolina in it and reduce the flame of the gas and fry the semolina while stirring continuously. Semolina has to be roasted till its color turns golden brown. When the color of the semolina changes and the smell starts coming, put 2-3 cups of water (according to need) in the pan.
Now stir well with a big spoon and let the halwa cook. Meanwhile, cut the dry fruits into small pieces as well. After cooking the halwa for some time, add sugar to it and mix it well with the help of a spoon. Now peel the cardamom and crush its seeds lightly. After this put them in the pan and mix well in the pudding. When the halwa becomes thick and ready, add dry fruits to it and turn off the gas. Delicious semolina pudding is ready. Pour it in a serving bowl and serve garnished with some dry fruits.
